How to throw a 'Frozen' theme party

The movie Frozen was a smash hit. I never saw the movie, but as movies go that create a craze, I didn’t have to.

I heard the theme songs. I know the names of all the characters. Because with that kind of popularity, you can’t help but know. Every little girl within 20 feet of me is still singing and dancing along to the movie in their heads.

That my friends, is when you know you’ve reached greatness.

A birthday with Anna and Elsa

Every child dreams of meeting, or being, their hero. Walt Disney knew this when he placed his epic characters throughout the fantasy land of Disney World. He created the magic, and the children flocked with parents in tow.

So it’s no surprise that millions of little girls are wishing for a Frozen theme birthday party this year. And as parents, it becomes your job to re-create the movie magic.

Here are some of the essential elements to creating the perfect party.

·         Get snow, early

·         Make a list

·         Freeze the party

Don’t sweat. We’ll help you navigate the stress of throwing an epic birthday party fantasy. And create your own winter wonderland.

Get Snow
Ice Now

Ice companies provide snow delivery anywhere you need it. And for a Frozen party of epic proportions, you must have snow.

Prepare by scheduling your delivery early. Aim for at least a month in advance but the earlier you call, the more likely you will be able to secure the date you need. Nothing would be worse than moving your party date because of procrastination. And there are only two reasons a party like this must be moved:

1.       The birthday child is sick or

2.       You forgot to get snow

Make a List

Do you hate making lists? Too bad! This is your little one’s birthday!! (Just kidding.)

But seriously, birthday parties require two lists.

1.       Who will get invitations and

2.       What you need to do.

The first list will help form the second.

Is the party going to be limited to an intimate friend and family affair? The class? Or will it rival the Royal wedding of Kate and Will? Keep in mind the location you’ve chosen and how many people it can comfortably handle. Fortunately, for this party indoor and outdoor space can be utilized as long as rain isn’t in the forecast.

Freeze the Party

Here’s where the magic happens. Let your imagination go wild. And if your imagination is in hibernation, just take a few tips from these super moms and dads.
